3 Industry leading tablets with intelligent features in India

Posted on 20:06 by Unknown
Tablet has revolutionized the mobile computer industry. This touch-screen device has eliminated the need for numerous hardware components (keyboard, mouse etc.).
There is a wide range of sizes, which are larger than all available Smart phones. The pioneer in tablet industry is Apple Inc. that launched its innovative iPad in the year 2010. Afterwards, numerous other computing experts entered into this industry.
Apple’s iPad is the market leader in terms of units sold followed by the Kindle Fire and Nook engineered by “Amazon” and “Barnes & Noble”. I am going to give you a brief description of the other foremost tablet models that are well equipped with high-tech features.

1. Excite 10 LE from Toshiba

This high performance Excite 10 LE is the one of the thinnest tablet (7.7 mm). That is why the users are attracted to this 10-inch device. Toshiba has embedded 4430 TI OMAP processor and 6690 mAH battery. An outstanding display of 1280×800 plus the flexibility of memory extension through micro SD, micro USB and HDMI make it the best device for long trips.
There is not much difference when we compare its display with the latest iPad.  Users can go for Swipe if they don’t want to use its default Android keyboard. Swift key would be a smart option for simultaneous typing in 2-3 languages. “Smarpredicitve” is an innovative feature of Swift key that gets familiar with the users’ typing habits. Audio quality of this slim tablet is remarkable. Toshiba has really done a great job with its built-in speakers.

2. Xperia S from Sony

This good-looking tablet stands apart with its 1280×800 resolution on a large 9.4 inch touch screen.
Camera resolution of the front and rear are 1 MP and 8 MP respectively. Sony has introduced a universal IR remote, which facilitates users to seamlessly control cable box, television, Blu-ray player and other devices from this single tablet. Most importantly, the products can be non-Sony as well.  So confidently execute “play music” “watch T.V” and a number of other commands through this remote functionality.
Processor incorporated in this tablet is 1.4 GHz Quad Core NVIDIA Tegra 3. If you are browsing through Wi-Fi, the battery would last up to approx. 10 hours, whereas it is 12 hours for video.
The attractive user interface allows swift browsing. Its unique splash-proof architecture facilitates users to place it over a stand, thus ensuring protection against wet hands.

3. Galaxy Note 10.1 from Samsung

This smart Android device adds versatility and accelerates performance of all applications with its 1.4GHz quad core processor.
microSD slot provides you the option to easily increase its capacity. Thanks to its S-pen technology, postcards, memos, paintings and drawings can be done with greater creativity.
You can write messages on your pictures and other screen-captures. It has 10.1 inch screen and 2 GB RAM. For connectivity, it features Bluetooth 4.0, USB and Wi-Fi. The 7000mAh battery deliver excellent backup. Pictures and video clips can be made from its 1.9 MP (front) and the 8 MP (rear) cameras.

How to Appeal a Ban from Google Adsense Instantly

Posted on 00:54 by Unknown

How to Appeal a Ban from Google Adsense

A natural follow-up to the last post in the Adsense for Bloggers Series is how to engage with Google if you do, in fact, get banned either because you ignored the rules and policies on purpose (or by accident).
Of course, as I mentioned in the post, you could have been banned because someone was purposefully out to get you and manipulating your earnings to force a ban – but in both cases you’ll need to submit an appeal to Google to get your account back.
All you can really do is fill out this Violation Appeal Form and hope for the very best. Fill it out with the required information and be as honest as you possibly can to see if you can get your account back and have another shot at using their service.
Beyond being honest you’ll want to give as much information and evidence that you are a legitimate user, you’re upstanding, and that you either did it completely by accident or you were subject to some a malicious user. Screenshots and other proof will help as well.
If you get rejected and still want to use Adsense you’ll have to start another account using another account name and/or entity/business. This also be another person in your company as well.
Just make sure that if you apply you don’t use the website and/or blog that originally got banned as the entry domain and website! This is an obvious “Duh” but worth mentioning anyways!
If you’re completely desperate you could use another person’s account and have them put their adsense code on your site and have them pay you out every month but man, that’s pretty darn desperate (and a lot of work).
Gotta do what you gotta do, right?
Good luck and hopefully you’ll never have to deal with this challenge ever, right?! Just in case you might as well review this post, again!

5 Google Adsense Policies Every Blogger Must Know

Posted on 00:45 by Unknown

No, Google isn't completely like 1984...
Unfortunately this post might feel a bit dry and boring but it’s absolutely critical that you walk through this and make sure you know it (and don’t come back to me and cry when you get in trouble either!).
You see, the Adsense Policies for it’s program are taken very seriously and the unsuspecting and somewhat ignorant blogger can wake up one morning with their account removed and their website banned from the program, sometimes permanently. The long-term impact of such a ban is obvious and you never want this to happen as it’s next to impossible to get back in the program once you’re banned.
Google is super-strict when it comes to enforcing their policies and more bloggers have been burned because they simply don’t think they are being policed – the fact is that you will be. It’s Minority Report, 1984, and all those other Sci-Fi films about law, order, and oversight!
Ok, it’s not that bad, but I think you’re getting the picture, right? What I’m going to do is walk you through 5 of the top things you need to know about the policies and what to look out for.

1. You Must Have a Privacy Policy

This one is easy to do and will take a little bit of your time but is simple a non-negotiable item if you’re even thinking about engaging with Adsense – youmust have a Privacy Policy in place if you’re going to run Google Adsense.
Period.
Google is explicit in this requirement (you can read more about creating a privacy policy right here) and you should have one. One of the no-brainer ways to get banned is forgetting (or not knowing) about this!

2. Invalid Clicks

Great book.
Besides not having a Privacy Policy in place the number one way that many people get banned and removed is through “invalid” clicks. There are a number of ways to trigger an invalid click:
Automated Software – People who create or use software to click on links (perhaps their own advertisements) are quickly caught and banned.
Bots – Similar to Automated Software, these scripts can auto-click or pass through values that can get you in trouble. Stay away and don’t buy into any “system” or “service” that’ll “automate” anything for you.
You – One of the top offenders are the site owners themselves as they “test” their own advertisements and click on them. I have talked (and counseled) more bloggers who have gotten banned because of this who said something along the lines of:
I was just testing it to see if it was working! What’s wrong with that?
What’s wrong is that you can’t do that!
Friends, Online Groups – Another quick way to get banned is asking your friends (or family or a social network or online group) to “test” it out for you with explicit directions to click on the advertisements. This is a serious no-no and will get you banned quicker than you can say “Test my ad for me please!”
Any Other Artificial Click – Sometimes you can get banned because someone or some business might be targeting your website by accident or intentionally because they are really mad at you. For example, you piss off your competitor and they come in and click every single Google Adsense advertisement on your blog 100 times. Yup, you pay for this and could get banned.
Is that fair? Absolutely not and Google will help you resolve the situation if it’s truly malicious. The best way is for you to stay proactive and check your account activity for any irregular clicks or patterns consistently. Report anything strange, even in the slightest and you should be good to go.

3. Misleading or Encouraging Your Readers, Visitors to Click Advertisements

Another common way that bloggers get banned is to either mislead their visitors and readers to click on the advertisements or even explicitly asking them to either by saying something as direct as “Please click my banner advertisements on my sidebar!” or perhaps something a little more tactful (but still not smart) as “Please support me and my advertisers by clicking on my ads!” or even having a little text about the advertisements that say “Check these awesome sites out!”
Don’t do it because Google will catch you.
This essentially violates Adsense policies as the end user may not know that those clicks are on actual advertisements. The only allowed text above any Adsense ad is “Ads” or “Advertisement.”
Also, you can mislead your users by way of your blog’s design by putting content super-close to your advertisements or in such a way that forces them to click on them to move forward in their user experience. Putting advertisements next to images is also prohibited as this can “fool” a user in thinking it’s an image while it’s actually an advertisement.
Here are two examples that are trying to fool a user into clicking the ads:

The blog post title is trying to mislead users to click on links below!
And here’s another common bad practice:

Trying to blend in content with advertisements. Sneaky.
As you can see the blogger here is trying to mislead their users into clicking on the links and advertisements.

4. Revealing Adsense Data

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve messed up here in the past and have had to correct some blog posts that contained too much information that was available publicly.
The Terms and Conditions state explicitly:
You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information without Google’s prior written consent.
“Google Confidential Information” includes without limitation:
(a) all Google software, technology, programming, specifications, materials, guidelines and documentation relating to the Program;
(b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Property performance in the Program provided to You by Google; and
(c) any other information designated in writing by Google as “Confidential” or an equivalent designation.
However, You may accurately disclose the amount of Google’s gross payments to You pursuant to the Program.
I’ve highlighted in bold the important things to know and you should be careful with any screenshots that you make of any part of your program or performance. In fact, screenshots aren’t explicitly stated as being on the “safe” list so if you want to be ultra-safe and conservative you’ll never post screenshots – up to you!
You can, of course, share how much you make which is always pretty neat!

5. Purchasing Traffic, 3rd Parties

The last area that typically get’s people banned is when they purchase traffic from other sources. For many of you this might not apply (ever) but for some of you who are perhaps more advanced in your use and marketing strategies you need to be careful.
Adsense says that the following may not be done and all warrant a ban by Google:
  • Use third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf and click-exchange programs.
  • Be promoted through unsolicited mass emails or unwanted advertisements on third-party websites.
  • Display Google ads, search boxes or search results as a result of the actions of software applications such as toolbars.
  • Be loaded by any software that can trigger pop-ups, redirect users to unwanted websites, modify browser settings or otherwise interfere with site navigation. It is your responsibility to ensure that no ad network or affiliate uses such methods to direct traffic to pages that contain your AdSense code.
  • Receive traffic from online advertising unless the site complies with the spirit of Google’s Landing Page Quality Guidelines. For instance, users should easily be able to find what your ad promises.
For many of you this might be “greek” and you’ll be fine but it’s good for you to know and never buy traffic or buy into a program or service without knowing all of the nitty-gritty details because it might end up costing you more than you know!
Finally, it’s just a good thing to read and review both the official Google Terms and Conditions as well as the official Adsense Program Policies. Again, don’t cry to me if you get banned and never actually read what you signed up for!

Your Quick Yet Essential Introduction to Google Adsense

Posted on 00:42 by Unknown
To get one of the checks above you have to have more than just a blog and a few page views every so often – you have to optimize your blog and execute against a strategy so that it pays off, not only for your own bottom line but also for your users.
[This is part of the Blogger's Guide to Earning More with Google Adsense.]
But before we go there we should start with the very basics because I can’t assume that everyone knows about Google Adsense and what it can do for you and your blog (as well as your pocket).
There’s a lot to learn and you can spend hours on just covering every single facet of the Google Adsense program before you even put an advertisement on your blog but that’s a waste of time (in my opinion) – I’m going to try to get you started as quickly as possible.
With that said here’s your absolutely essential (and quickest-without-compromising-meaty-information) introduction to Google Adsense.
Shall we? Let’s go!

What is Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is an advertising program that has allows online publishers and website owners to monetize (make money) from their websites and blogs.
It does this by letting the publisher or website owner use Google’s software to generate contextual advertisements that can be used in a variety of different places on websites and applications.
What Google means by “contextual” is that they use proprietary software to analyze not only the content of the page where the actual advertisement is being served by also the language of the user, the geographic location, as well as a host of other “signals” such as previous usage, cookies (that store user information that can help target ads), and more.
The result (or hoped for result) is more strategic and focused advertisements for your users which can result in higher click-through rates (potential and actual number of clicks on a particular advertisement) so that the advertiser can increase their sales and for you, the publisher, to make more money.
You can display advertisements in the following locations:
  • Content – Display targeted advertisements on your website or blog
  • Search – Allows your users to use Google’s search software on your site and you earn money on the resulting advertisements on the results page. I show how to set one up for your blog easily here.
  • Mobile Content - Display advertisements on mobile platforms and mobile technology.
  • Feeds - You can display advertisements on RSS Feeds as well, such asFeedburner.
  • Domains - You can display ads on unused domains that you may own.
  • Affiliates - You can sign up with the Google Affiliate Network to connect with other advertisers.
  • Custom Search Ads - Different than Search above you can monetize your search results pages like how Google does it.
  • TV - You can monetize your TV inventory, if you’ve got some.
  • Video - Monetize your videos if the have a high view count.
  • Games - Selling games? Make money via Adsense there as well.
Those are the major locations that a publisher can put Adsense units.

How to Sign Up and Get Accepted:

To be honest not everyone who signs up ultimately gets accepted into the program. Most bloggers should easily pass through and get an account quickly but some of you may find it more of a challenge than one would initially think.
Sign up here to get started.
The process is free and the turn-around time is typically pretty quick with most bloggers getting in by the end of a week’s time. Some have to wait a bit longer, up to a month in some circumstances.
Can you increase the possibility of getting accepted the first time through? The answer to that question is a definitive “Yes!” – all you have to do is make sure that your blog and site isn’t too “low quality” and that you have some decent content and traffic to your property. The ones that get rejected the most are sites that look (and feel) spammy or are too new.
A good design, a logo perhaps, a history of content, and few comments, and a general appearance of being managed and kept up are general guidelines to follow.
What’s nice is that once you’re approved you can use those ad units and your account for any website – so it’s best to apply with your “best foot forward,” so to speak.

Google Adsense Units:

The Google Adsense system is handled by pasting a Javascript code that is provided by Google on your website. It typically looks something like this:

Nothing too special.
Google provides all this code for you after you determine the size and specifications of the advertisement.
The current formats offered are as follows:
Recommended:
  • 300 x 250 – Medium Rectangle
  • 336 x 280 – Large Rectangle
  • 728 x 90 – Leaderboard
  • 160 x 600 Wide Skyscraper
Horizontal:
  • 468 x 60 – Banner
  • 234 x 60 Half Banner
Vertical:
  • 120 x 600 – Skyscraper
  • 120 x 240 Vertical Banner
Square:
  • 250 x 250 – Square
  • 200 x 200 – Small Square
  • 180 x 150 – Small Rectangle
  • 125 x 125 – Button
Link Units:
  • 728 x 15
  • 468 x 15
  • 200 x 90
  • 180 x 90
  • 160 x 90
  • 120 x 90
Typically Adsense units display text links with a description and/or with an image or other rich media. You can decide which media you’d like specifically as well as your ability to customize the look and the feel (style):

More than a few options.
You’ll want to make sure that you create the most effective experience possible with not only your choice of advertising units but also the style and look to match your blog.

Choose which works best.
We’ll talk a bit more about how to choose the right ones but just know that you have some flexibility when it comes to displaying them.

How Do You Get Paid?

Great question! Web publishers and Adsense users get paid on a Cost Per Click (CPC) or a Cost Per Mille (CPM) basis where the latter being 1,000 impressions (Mille).
This will depend, though, on how the advertiser has chosen to pay for their advertisement to be available to publishers. It is good to know that these ads are served from the Google Adwords network which is the program offered to advertisers to sell stock and ads on Adsense-powered sites.
The more traffic your blog has the more potential clicks (CPC) you may have to increase your earnings and/or the more money you’ll make through direct impressions via traffic (CPM).
Finally, you can choose between getting a check in the mail or a direct deposit if you’d like:

Time to get paid!
I typically like getting checks in the mail because I like the physical feeling of getting them – no other reason honestly and sure it’s more work but I don’t mind!
But of course this is up to you – doesn’t matter to me!
And that’s all you’ll need to know at this point to move forward with Google Adsense – in other words the quickest primer you could ever have about Google Adsense!
Let me know if you have any other questions!

3 Ways to Increase Organic Traffic, The Adsense Money Maker

3 Ways to Increase Organic Traffic, The Adsense Money Maker

One of the things that you’ll hear a lot (for good reason) is the term “organic” traffic. I’ve already used this term a lot, both in this Adsense Series as well as in other posts but I wanted to spend a little time providing a little guidance about why it’s so important.
The simple fact is that traffic that originates from search engines is called organic traffic and organic traffic has been proven to be the most profitable, not just financially but also from a pageview and growth perspective.
That’s why you’ll hear me (and many others) say that organic traffic is the best type of traffic to monetize and should ultimately be a part of your growth goals for your blog.
Why is it so important? It’s because when people use a search engine they are obviously looking for something – a product, a service, and answer to a question and/or a solution to a problem. This search pattern and behavior is important because they are more prone to click through advertisements that provide a solution to their need than other types of traffic.
This means, naturally, that visitors and readers from other sources are far less likely to click on your advertisements than organic traffic visitors. In fact, regular users (repeat visitors and community members) will almost never click on any of your advertisements because they are there for the content, not necessarily the advertisement that doesn’t necessarily solve a problem or provide a solution – the content is the problem and solution instead (in some cases).
They suffer from “banner blindness” as some call it. The same goes for traffic generated via social media sharing and the like – they are (generally speaking) a bit more web savvy and are there for the content as well, not the advertisements that solve a need as well.
Makes sense, right?
What does this mean for you as a blogger? It means the following:
  1. Content – Yup. That’s right. Your goal is to continually pump out amazing blog content that solves needs and provides solutions for people, not just rambling diatribes about how the local restaurant (that you always go to) had bad service today and made you feel sick.
  2. SEO - Yup, another doozy, right? It means that you optimize your blog to handle, receive, and attract organic traffic through solid search engine optimization techniques as well.
  3. Focus - I’ve talked this up a bunch but you really do need to have some focused content that kicks serious butt. Nothing is more diluted than a blog that has 100 un-focused categories that talk about Twitter one day and then your kid’s boogers the next.
The higher your rank in SERPs the more clicks you get and the more click-throughs you get the more traffic your blog receives and the more traffic you get the higher potential for your advertisements to see some action.
And, of course, the more action your ads get the more money you make. Simple, now go do it.

Don’t Rely on Google Adsense Only! Diversify Your Channels!

Posted on 01:25 by Unknown
One of the things that you probably know quite naturally is not to put all your “eggs in one basket,” so to speak.
Adsense can be a significant source of income but as history has shown a blogger’s earnings can fluctuate from month to month and without much warning – sometimes the drop (or increase) can be substantial.
The lesson and key takeaway from this is obvious: Diversification is one of your most important strategies!
Just like any good financial investor who doesn’t bank on just one channel or stock or investment relying completely and 100% on any monetization strategy or channel of income is dangerous, especially if you’re a Problogger and need your income from your blog to pay your mortgage (and more)!
Beyond just the ups and downs of earnings you could face a ban from Adsense, even if it’s not your fault. Although you might be able to get your account back it’ll take time and you might lose significant amounts of capital as you work through the process.
Now, if Adsense is your number one channel right now in terms of income you’ll want to bring that down to at least closer to 60% or 70%. In fact, if you could work toward 50% I think that’s pretty safe but you could go as high as 80% if you want.
It’s ultimately up to you – and you may have many other channels as well. Diversify and stay safe! Adsense can give you some great earnings but it could be gone tomorrow so plan for it, even if it never happens!

What Percent of Organic Traffic Should a Blog Get?

Posted on 01:18 by Unknown
What Percent of Organic Traffic Should a Blog Get?
This is a great question but one that’s not necessarily complete. I get asked this a lot and the quick and simple answer is this: It depends.
As we discussed in the last blog post about Adsense and organic traffic one will generally see a higher CTR (click-through rate) on their advertisements with organic traffic as compared to direct traffic and/or referral-based traffic.
What that means, naturally, is if you’re trying to make a lot of income through an Adsense-based blog and/or website you’re going to want to concentrate on developing a blog that has a lot of search engine traffic.
But here’s the catch: Concentrating too much on SEO-based traffic might cost you in the long run as the formulas change and algorithms shift – you always want a good balance between the top three: Direct Traffic, Referring Sites, and Search Engines.
If I had it my way I’d try to find a good balance between the three but you can’t always have a “perfect” mix – in fact, there really isn’t a perfect mix and it entirely depends on your monetization strategy short and long-term.
For example, here’s a screenshot of one blog that I manage that is destroying it in terms of organic traffic:
With over 80% organic I’m making some great money via Google Adsense and the like (and it’s not really that optimized either).
But, what happens if Google shifts their formula and/or ranking? I might lose that entire line of financial income! I’ve banked on it continuing to be a profit center but I’m not hedging my bets, so to speak, as wisely as I could. And, I’m not building a successful long-term brand with exposure through social media, social networking, and referral sites.
In addition, direct traffic increase not only brand awareness but also long-term followers and subscribers, extremely targeted traffic, exceptional loyalty (which can be capitalized long-term), and lead-generation for products, services, and small businesses. All good, right?
The point is this: Diversifying your sources of traffic is wise idea and you should try to balance your efforts from social networking site as well as organic search and depending on your particular goal (direct monetization vs organic monetization) you’ll focus on one more than the other.
It’s up to you. Cheers!

How Much Traffic Do You Need to Start with Adsense Successfully?

Posted on 01:22 by Unknown
A good question that you should ask yourself is whether or not your blog has the right amount of traffic to start monetizing it with Google Adsense.
There are a couple of reasons why this is generally important and what I think:
  • Developing your killer content first should be your top priority, especially as a new blog. Any energy in any other direction is wasted in my book.
  • You should also seek to “earn the right” to offer advertising to your users. I think waiting, especially if you’re just starting out, is a good thing for you and your community. This goes hand in hand with providing exceptional value as well.
  • Testing is your greatest weapon when it comes to optimizing your Adsense units, position, design, and more. To do so requires that you have an adequate amount of traffic to make good estimates and to test thoroughly. As a result I still hold pretty firmly that you should wait until you have 250 unique visitors per day. In fact, I suggest even more.
  • Without enough traffic you inevitably won’t have enough organic traffic to make the conversions necessary to make you competitive financially as well as give you enough motivation to continue. Most people quit at this point and never see it through to the end of their true earning potential. But, you need to have enough traffic!
Ultimately though you should wait until you have both the time and interest level necessary to set it up properly and to optimize effectively. If you don’t have either (or just small amounts) you should wait. And never start if you aren’t sure or are uncomfortable with it!

Varying Degrees of Success

It is irresponsible of me to forget to mention that there are definitely a varying of success that can be achieved based on traffic. All of us know this intuitively but it’s worth noting explicitly.
For example, a site about the mortgage industry (and how to solve your mortgage woes) with 7,500 uniques per month could make $150+ per month while a blog about what you ate for breakfast with the same amount of traffic could earn $10 (or less).
How you fare will depend on your success as well as your content, community, and commitment to optimization.

How to Choose the Perfect Smartphone for yourself ?

Posted on 19:59 by Unknown
We can never deny the role of our smartphones in bringing remarkable changes to our life. It has not only made our life easy and convenient but also helped us with many useful features in just one device. Whether you want to know road map of a location, share information and pictures with friends, listen to music or watching movies or just stay connected to the world, a smartphone does it all for you.
Now, one of the most typical questions asked by the smartphone users these days is, with so many options available out there, how to choose a smartphone, which meets all your requirements perfectly?
There are certain factors that we should focus on before making a decision. Based on my personal experience, I will offer a few useful tips to help you in your buying decision. Hope this will serve your purpose!
The first time smartphone users usually have lots of hesitation in their mind like which platform will be the best or how to get a non-expensive plan, etc. You must also check whether your network is compatible with the phone you choose and most importantly, whether you really need a smartphone or not.
Still, if you are really willing to buy a smartphone, it is very important that you put some effort and do a little research to identify what kind of smartphone features would really suit your needs or how much money you can afford for a smartphone.
Here, are some tips, which should help you take the decision with ease and clear all your doubts.
1. What do I need?
The first thing you need is to be clear about your priorities. Think, what do you need from a smartphone? You have to be sure that the phone you choose has all the basic features as par your need and expectation. Anything extra you get in the phone should be a bonus for you. Remember, before going for a high end phone, make sure whether you really need those features; otherwise you will end up paying lots of money for the features that you will hardly use. After all, price is the ultimate deciding factor when purchasing a smartphone.
2. Which is the best brand?
Ah, that’s a great dilemmas for most of the buyers because it is one question that is definitely going to pop up on your mind when thinking of a smartphone. We may have certain prejudices towards one or the other brands sometimes due to personal experience and sometimes from other’s experience. But, the fact is every brand has its best and worst products. All of them are equally good with some features better than the others and come with some drawbacks, as well. Carry out a search over the internet to find, read and compare before taking a decision. Difference in opinions will help you to arrive at a certain conclusion.
3. What platform to choose?—-Android, Blackberry or iPhone?
That also depends upon a number of factors. You will find several phones running on android OS right from budget phones to high end smartphones along with plenty of apps in its app store that are compatible with multiple platforms. The Blackberry, on the other hand, is ideal for chatting and web browsing. iPhones, too have one of the biggest number of apps, but the problem with they can’t be used on any other platform.
So, android is the best option for downloading a lot of free applications, whereas Blackberry will be the perfect choice if you want to stay 24 hours connected via messenger and email. The Apple fans, on the other hand, will definitely go for iPhone.
4. Choose a Suitable Carrier
Choose a carrier according to your budget. You have to be careful whilst choosing a network plan because you may find a lot of them offering discounts and packages, but most of them will ultimately cost you much more than what you actually paid for your phone.
Some important points to remember:
1. Decide your purpose of using a smartphone.
2. Go for an unlimited plan if you use your phone mainly to download apps from the internet or chat a lot.
3. If you make frequent calls, choose a plan with discounted call rates. Also, check out the penalty amount for breaching contract.
5. The Features:
Now once you decide your phone, platform, plan and carrier, it is time to check out the features and experience it personally.
You can test your phone features in the following way:
1. Check the keypad, which should be comfortable for use.
2. Take some pictures to test the camera quality.
3. Play music and video player for satisfaction.
4. Run a few apps on the phone to see whether they run smoothly or not.
A smartphone being a multitasking device, make sure that the phone you choose is up to your expectation, and the drawbacks you found in the phone don’t have an impact on your decision.
Smartphones being a costly investment that you will use for at least 3-4 years, you must be satisfied with your choice before you make the final purchase. I hope that the above tips will help you in making the right choice for your phone. Did you find this post helpful in deciding your new smartphone? You can also add some more points to the list that are missed out. Let us know your views in the comment place.

Increase Your Adsense Earnings with a Focused Niche, Content

Posted on 01:34 by Unknown
Increase Your Adsense Earnings with a Focused Niche, Content

No, not that type of niche...
One of the things that might be holding you back may be most simply your content focus (or the lack thereof).
To be honest you could have a huge amount of traffic due to being a long-standing blogger, offline popularity, or any other factor but if your content isn’t focused then you may be unable to convert Google Adsense to a point where it’s worth your time.
You see, the more focused your content, the more focused your niche within a particular market segment or content area, the more likely you are able to have the CTR necessary to take you to the next financial level for your blog.
For example, if you blogged generally about your life, what you ate this morning, how the person in front of you was really loud in line at your local Starbucks, and how you really had an incredible day at work despite your boss being a bit upset – then don’t expect a very high CTR!
But, if you concentrate and focus your content in one particular and specific niche, and really uncompromisingly keep the path straight and do not veer too often, you can have lower overall traffic numbers than the previous example and make 10x as much!
Why is this true? Simple really – you see, the more focused your content the more targeted your blog becomes for answering people’s questions via organic search engine traffic which means they are more likely to click on an advertisement that solves a direct and felt need.
What does this mean for you? It could mean that you spend more time with posts like this one (Content Focus) and this one (Focused Categories) before you even start with the Blogger’s Adsense Series.

10 Reasons Why You Should Use Google Adsense

Posted on 00:56 by Unknown
At this point you might have already committed to moving forward with Google Adsense but even so I wanted to share some candid thoughts on why I have chosen to use it for not only this blog when I first started advertising but on many other blogs as well.
I’ll admit that I haven’t always been a super-fan of Adsense and on some blogs it just doesn’t “fit” well with the content focus and/or the community – but there’s always a possibility of executing well with it if done wisely and strategically.
It’s definitely not the financial “ringer” and obviously not the only monetization strategy that works but there are some amazing benefits of not just from fattening your wallet but it can also help you learn more about your blog, how it interacts with search andSEO, and how better to serve your visitors and readers with strategically placed content and call-outs. Heck, there’s a lot that you can learn just through the research required to do well with Adsense!
But naturally the most important (and powerful) reason for using Google Adsense is that if you do well then it can provide you a significant financial channel from your blog and some people make tens of thousands from it every single month. Now wouldn’t that be nice?
Without further ado, here’s my Top 10 list that might just sway you if you’re sitting on the fence:
  1. Quick Start – It’s incredibly easy to get started with Google Adsense and if you’ve registered and joined other advertising networks you know that some of them can be incredibly arduous and long-winded as well as hard to get in (some require a personal phone call!).
  2. Very Few Restrictions - Many other advertising programs require some levels of site traffic and/or earning potential to make it into the program as well as having certain caps and/or limitations/requirements on the sites that you use. With Adsense you have very few restrictions and that’s a good thing.
  3. Customization and Options - You can easily customize the look and the feel of your advertisements to make sure that it fits nicely with your blog and website. It’s surprising that many other ad networks don’t even have that level of customization! In addition, the amount of options for types of advertisements, sizes, and placements are great too.
  4. Robust Reporting - The reporting is pretty much second-to-none with advanced reports, specials templates, and other such features that give you the ability to optimize to your heart’s content.
  5. Optimization Tools - You get great reporting but it’s not just for looks – they give you all the tools that you need to maximize your earning potential (and trust me you’ll need them).
  6. Incredible Network - The number of advertisers that are available is also top-notch and you can’t really find an equal when it comes to the number of available advertisers to fill the spots that you create.
  7. Contextual Targeting - When Google Adsense says that there advertisements are contextual they really do mean it. Most other advertising networks say that they can target but their algorithms and software aren’t even close to being as good. This also works well with the large network too.
  8. Great Payouts - Of course you need to make sure that you optimize and execute on strategy but the payouts and financial earnings are actually quite good and you can start earning from the first day you put some ads on your blog. Few other networks can promise near-instant returns on your time commitment.
  9. Global Monetization - This works in tandem with the last point but you can truly monetize global traffic instead of just domestic. If you’re blog gets global traffic (which many of them will) then you’ll want to make sure you’re working with a network and system that can provide global monetization, and Google Adsense does.
  10. Doesn’t Require a PH.D. - Finally, most people can not just start easily but start making money without having to know much about anything! I like the idea that the bar is lowered and that bloggers from all shapes and sizes (and education levels) can make it, but you’ll need to educate yourself to beyond just the basics to do as well as you’d like to!
There are definitely more than just 10 reasons I enjoy Google Adsense but that should help you get a better feel for where I sit!

The 5 Golden Rules of SEO +1 to launch a New Website or Blog

Posted on 19:28 by Unknown
In this column has gradually talked about SEO and what are the main aspects to consider when optimizing your site for better positioning in search engines.
After this long series of concepts and explanations (hopefully useful) was expected to come in handy positioning and how to do … if you do not describe the 5 main steps to “set” a website SEO perspective?
Within this article describes the most important actions to be implemented at the launch of a new website.
  1. Create an account and configure Google Analytics: Google Analytics data will be your best friends throughout the life of a web site. Allow the user to make detailed analysis and specific, making almost automatic report very effective.
  2. Set up and connect the site with Google Webmaster Tools: Analytics together to form an absolutely essential tool for SEO analysis. (Almost) Everything you need is in one of these 2 instruments (as far as the only SEO)
  3. Create a sitemap optimized: as explained in one of our articles from the SEO Biz 4, through the tools to Webmaster, you can send an XML sitemap to the search engine to do in a way that spiders “read” the site for increase the possibility of indexing and consequently to place the various specific pages in the SERPs. To create sitemap optimized for search engines just install a plugin that will work for us: in the event that you are using a site with CMS WordPress can find dozens of tools in a few clicks generate sitemap ready to be fed to the engine research (such as Simple Google XML Sitemap and Google XML Sitemap BWP)
  4. SEO techniques are applied to the website: Before launching an online web site must always remember the basic techniques of SEO to be able to give a clear idea of the content and structure that will delineate. Tools such as Meta tags, URL structure, a weighted system of internal and external linking and code optimization to minimize any delays in the site, are critical to set the best use of a website at the time of ‘”on air “.
  5. Write interesting and compelling content for users: the last rule is certainly the most important of all to ensure continuity and success at any web site. The contents are and will be increasingly essential to the success of any type of business you want to pursue online. Whether it’s information or make a trade, if you communicate in a correct and true, the results will not wait. It is therefore necessary to realize the full potential that the web has to offer marketing and structuring a well-defined content strategy and implement it over time.
Use social media to boost the sharing of content by providing authoritative and recognizable across social networks, is becoming much more important than a link building campaign. It is therefore necessary to think strategically about how to use Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, depending on the goals established communication and power specifications of the products, and therefore communicates properly.
